The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) is the premiere showcase in the Fine Watch sector. I had the pleasure of attending with IWC, as they introduced their Jubilee Collection.
This was my first time in Geneva and the city was absolutely stunning. I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel during my time there, and I must admit I had a great hotel experience. I eventually found the strength to leave the comfort of my hotel room (jet lag is real), and visited the IWC booth where I had the pleasure of meeting Christoph Graiger- Herr (CEO of IWC Schaffhausen). Following my trip to the exhibit, I rushed home to get ready for the Black Tie Gala and dinner (which was epic to say the least).
The next day, I had the opportunity to attend a watch making course, to learn a little about the inner workings of fine watches. Even though I struggled on a few steps, lost a couple of screws, and was totally confused by the some of the concepts. I’m happy to report that I passed the class and received a certificate of completion! Lol…. Check out my experience below.
