Philipp Plein is a fashion designer that got a unique start in the industry. At the age of 25 he was asked to design a lounge at the German trade fair CPD Düsseldorf, for Moet & Chandon, where he was also allowed to sell his accessories. He sold over $100,000 dollars that day and thus the Philipp Plein brand was born. Since then he has gone on to be the 2007 winner of the GQ National Brand Awards as well as the 2014 winner of the International Fashion Brand award at Esquire Middle East. The Swiss based designer is back this time around with the Philipp Plein spring/summer 2016 campaign fronted by Lucky Blue Smith. This is the second time in a row Smith has served as the face of the Philipp Plein campaign and it make sense given that there might not be a more popular young model in the world right now. Smith is seen in Plein’s bold spring designs which are emphasized by an almost futuristic atmosphere. Take a look at the Philipp Plein spring/summer 2016 campaign below and enjoy.
