Gucci has announced the opening of a permanent shop within a shop at Dover Street Market in New York City. The two brands have been collaborating with pop up shops in both the NYC and Ginza, Tokyo locations. However Alessandro Michele wanted to make the New York location permanent and created a unique visual concept for Dover Street Market New York. The focal point of the display is a dramatic camel, navy and red chevron print. The print is featured in chevron wallpaper and carpeting, as well as fabric covered screens. Located on the 7th floor of Dover Street Market New York, the space will be the first specialty store in North America to showcase products for men and women from Alessandro Michele’s designed Gucci Spring Summer 2016 collections.
