With the whimsy of a summer barbecue, Band Of Outsiders SS20 saw the brand do what it does best: jaunty takes on wearable classics. Eschewing the catwalk for an informal presentation, with models clustered in color sets, doing what these clothes were made for – hanging out.
Salmon, blue, yellow, and white dominated the palate, while prep mingled with streetwear, illuminating their commonalities. A baggy cardigan, ball caps with a clean B, a cable knit sweater tied across the body. A phosphorescent hooded down vest paired with an upturned bucket standing next to an elemental take on the white denim trucker. Boxy short sleeve button downs done in bulbous floral print.
They all wore classic canvas sneakers, updated. Raised bands ran around the outside of the soles of the shoes creating a visual all-terrain tread. Spins on the low top Chuck Taylor and Vans slip-on silhouettes, in black and white, with laces capped in orange.
